Ecovis Wingrave Yeats – Over the course of the last 9 months we have assisted 50 + Irish companies that trade in the UK but historically have no legal entity set up here. Most questions have been around the tax implications post Brexit of trading in the UK. Initial questions were about the new Customs and VAT implications post 1/1/21 . Now we are seeing the questions develop more to a discussion about what type of presence should an Irish company have here in the UK . For Irish companies with a significant trade presence here in the UK a number of these Irish entities are now considering setting up UK legal entities to further develop their UK trade presence.

At Ecovis we help many international businesses get established and deal with all initial legal , tax , accounting and general commercial questions Irish companies may have. We are always happy to give the benefit of our experience of over 30 years helping overseas businesses avoid the silly mistakes that can be made without seeking the right advice.
