What are your main priorities and goals in your role?
Simply helping make sure that we have a team of dedicated experts that can help change people’s lives for the better!
What are your biggest challenges?
Scaling while still keeping the personal touch! As we grow, we are constantly searching for enabling technologies to help us maximise the reach of an executive within a community. We want to connect them with as many relevant decision makers as possible. Keeping focused on the fact that these are individuals sometimes going through transition, not always by choice, ensures that we remain grounded, transparent and have their personal situation front of mind.
How has your business strategy been adapted in the context of the Covid-19 crisis?
It’s been a very challenging time on the market for so many executives and organisations. We see more and more executives requesting to talk to us each week. On the flip side we are also witnessing a unique moment on the market where company owners and founders are more open to talk and engage with potential senior hires than ever before.
How do you keep your team/staff motivated?
I let them run the business! Ownership and accountability are what it’s all about. We work with a selected group of consultants who really care, we work together as a team but each member has clear ownership of their part of the process.
What are the challenges facing your industry going forward?
With executive search we see that more and more companies are requesting market mapping services as understanding that your team bench strength is where you want it to be is critical to deciding if you should make changes or not.
How do you define success and what drives you to succeed?
If I can change the life of one executive by helping them feel supported through transition and helping them find their next challenge, it’s been worth it!
What’s the best advice you’ve been given, or would give, in business?
Head down, listen to your gut, set targets, be honest with what you can achieve and be as likeable as you can be!
What’s next for your company?
We are launching formally in Latin America, Asia and US in the coming months, as we currently are supporting executives all over the world but we feel now we need specific market focus and presence to ensure we still plugged in regionally.
Where do you want your business/brand to be this time next year?
To be seen as the King of Transitions! The go to brand for senior executives who need some help to figure out next steps.
