Hello, I’m Martina O’Riordan, Owner at MartinaO Weddings & Events.
I am a Wedding Planner based in Ireland, working with couples from all over the world to assist them with their vision and dream of having a Wedding in Ireland.
I have a Business Degree and a Diploma in Wedding & Event Planning and over 10 years’ Events and Marketing experience based in Ireland and Australia. My business experience includes years of planning & executing large to small events at large corporations.
I then made the strategic decision to become a Wedding Planner as well as an Event Planner. I am passionate about each story that goes with every wedding I have worked on and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of creating something so different to help bring a couples story to life.
My business experience, coupled with my hospitality experience, has given me a crucial understanding of the Planning, Service and Hospitality side to Weddings. Over the years I have built up a wealth of contacts within the industry and I know from experience the suppliers across Ireland that are very reliable and who will always deliver the highest standards in service.
I have met and helped amazing couples on their journey to getting married and made great friends along the way. I count myself very lucky to be able to promote Ireland as a Destination Wedding location and show couples from abroad the romance and magic that Ireland can really offer.
Couples choose to get married in Ireland because they may have Irish Heritage, because they have been here before or because they simply believe in the magic and romance of our beautiful Emerald Isle. I have couples that wish for an Irish Castle or to get married by a lake or in a forest. When it comes to Ireland, there is always so much to discover and the opportunities for your wedding experience are endless.
I simply love to see the couples that I work with having the experience of a lifetime in Ireland and I also love witnessing the gift of an Irish experience that their guests receive. Their guests may have been to Ireland before but mostly they have not. There is such a sense of excitement as they experience and enjoy our culture, our landscape, the music, the dancing, the food, and the people.
At MartinaO, we work with couples and assist them with everything that is involved in the Full Wedding Planning process, from finding the right venue, booking the right photographer to being there on the day itself. Our focus throughout the planning process is on finding new, unique and creative ways to celebrate each couple’s relationship and we pride ourselves on bringing something different to the table every time.

We connected with Martina in a very “meant to be” way in which we knew the universe was bringing us together for a reason. Planning a wedding in Ireland from the US with family in both places was a daunting task. We started looking at wedding venues initially on our own in Ireland during a visit in October 2017 and it felt like fate when we connected with Martina during that time. From that point on she became our “go to” gal for all things wedding related.
We never would’ve been able to pull off this “destination wedding” without her ultimate organization, attention to detail and ability to keep us on schedule and on budget through the entire planning process. But most importantly, her ability to connect with us on a personal level that felt so genuine is what we valued most.
We can honestly say that every vendor that Martina brought to us to create our beautiful day was just as talented and amazing as her.
